ALL dashboard lights coming on whilst driving...... then beeping RENAULT Clio V Hatchback (BF)

.ALL the dashboard lights came on whilst drivingā¦ NO messagesā¦ slight short whiff of burning ā¦ dash returned to normal other than rev counter being replaced by speedometer !!ā¦ car driving normally albeit a slightly rougher engine sound ā¦ then periodic beeping !!
Car had been in stop /start traffic for about 10 miles .. never out of 2ndā¦
On arrival home .. left a while .. then restarted normally
Next day ..restart very slowā¦long crankā¦and had to press brake rather than clutch.. drove normally ..except for periodic beeping.. NO warning lights or messages
WHY ???

The burning smell, dash glitches, rough sound, and odd starting all point that way. Iād check the battery, scan for codes, and look for any heat damage. - @GeorgeYo09.06.2025 13:03MemberHi, that beeping in your Clio could be a few things, even if no warning lights show up. Since you had that weird dashboard episode before, it might still be an electrical glitch or a sensor acting up.
If it keeps happening, plug in a code reader to see if anythingās stored in the system.
