Yeah, £170–£200 is spot-on for front springs on the TT, had mine swapped by a mate who does bits on weekends, reckon it took just under 3 hours as he was working steady. If you’ve got decent tools and a set of spring compressors, could probably have it done quicker, mate.

I went slightly cheaper—grabbed the parts off a lad in Bristol for about £80 and paid another £80 for fitting. Took about 2 hours all in. But honestly, would rather pay a bit extra so it’s done right, Audi’s suspension is a pain if you mess up.

If you’re handy with your tools, doable at home, but getting the old springs off can be right stubborn, plus you’ll need spring compressors. Paid £190 last spring for the job, took my local mechanic about 2 hours.

My experience—quotes were mostly in your range, £175 and up depending on who you know. Labour is what bumps up the price, parts themselves aren’t mad expensive. DIY’s possible but not worth it if you’ve got limited space and no kit.

Got mine from a neighbour, fitted at his shed. About £180 all in. Job wasn’t massive but needs some muscle, especially if your original springs are really gone. Took just over 2 hours, no dramas.

Did springs on my old TT recently, paid £200. Worth every penny, as local lad threw in a quick check of the wishbones. Long job if you’re new, but a pro can smash it in a couple hours.

Audi TT springs for £170–£200, standard price here in Manchester. If you supply the springs and just pay for fitting, might save £30, but honestly not a huge difference.

I managed it at £160 once, buying springs from a mate and fitting in his garage, but usually you’ll see £170–£200 quotes. Not a huge job for someone who knows what they’re doing, but wouldn’t call it quick either, springs are tricky sometimes.

Definitely not a nightmare job, just fiddly. Paid £200, included tracking check. Local garage took about 2.5 hours as one spring was seized. Audi charges more obviously, but indies around here stay in your price range.

Longest part was getting the old rusty bolts loose. Took just shy of 3 hours, £190 for the trouble, springs from a friend. Job’s straightforward otherwise, just need patience and a breaker bar.

If you shop around, sometimes guys will do it for less. I paid £175 in Leeds, 2 hours work while I had a brew. If you trust the mechanic, your quote’s decent for what you’re getting done.
