Always lubricate the new bushings with silicone grease. Did mine last year, and my Lexus hasn’t squeaked since. Plus, less risk of premature wear.

Honestly, I skipped the grease once—bad idea. Was stuck with an annoying knocking sound for weeks until I redid the job. Don’t cheap out, silicone spray or synthetic grease is simple to use.

Read somewhere to use only dry Teflon or silicone, so I followed that with my IS. Works like a charm! Wouldn’t use anything petroleum-based, heard it ruins rubber fast.

If you do poly bushings, greasing is an absolute must. For rubber, some folks skip it, but I had squeaks without, so ended up redoing with lube. Lesson learned.

Installed without lube once, squeak city on every bump. Used silicone grease the second time, now it’s silent. Two-minute extra step—worth it every time.

Big tip, mate: just don’t use regular grease. I messed up on my wife's Lexus, had to change the bushings again. Go with silicone, super easy to apply.

Grease it! Noisy suspension is the worst. Did mine with silicone spray, zero squeaks even after a year. Also easier on install.

If you live somewhere wet, grease helps keep rust off the stabilizer bar under the bushings too. I use the leftover silicone grease from brake work, works fine.

Lubricant between bar and bushing only. No need for endlinks. Used white lithium once, but silicone seems better for rubber.

Swapped bushings a couple times, always greased—no problems since. A mate of mine skipped it, ended up asking me to fix his a month later due to squeaks.
