      What size engine? not sure about 2.0 L but if it is the 1.6d (Ford engine) as used in the V50 then the fuel filter will require priming or you risk damaging the HP fuel pump, which in turn may introduce debris into the injectors. Hand priming pumps with the correct connections are readily available from ebay for this purpose.
