Check Parking Brake error

I’ve got the dreaded check parking brake error, my brakes were low and were changed 4 weeks ago, the error still remained; I’ve changed the reverse switch twice, the error still remains, If I try to use the brake to start the car, it says select neutral, even though it is in neutral, I can use the clutch like I always have done and do, no issue msg goes away, when I put the car in reverse I’ve noticed the error msg comes back on any idea what could be the cause; is it likely to be one of the clutch pedal sensors? parking brake works absolutely fine though.
