For light scratches (only clearcoat): Use polishing compounds. They work by removing the thinnest layer of clearcoat.
Recommended products: Meguiar's Ultimate Compound or ScratchX 2.0. They are safe and effective for hand polishing.
More aggressive options: Farécla G3 Pro or T-Cut. Be careful, as they cut more into the clearcoat and often require a final polish to restore the shine.
For deep scratches (down to the basecoat):
Polishing won't help. You need a touch-up kit.
Find a genuine Nissan kit based on your paint code. Carefully fill the scratch with basecoat, then clearcoat to build up the layer. After drying, you can lightly polish the area to smooth it out.
Top Tip: Before you begin, wash and dry the scratch. Always start with the least aggressive product.
