Hey everyone, I’m thinking about buying a 2005 Fiat Panda and I’m curious about its reliability. Are there any common issues I should be aware of, like with the transmission or electrical system? Would love to hear your experiences and any advice you might have. Thanks!

The 2005 Fiat Panda is known to have problems with the steering motors, transmission rods, suspension knocks, as well as engine electrical failures and jammed trunk releases. Otherwise, the car is considered inexpensive to operate, with readily available parts and easy repairs, provided basic maintenance is performed on time.
    Common Problems:
Steering: Steering motors may fail, which can cause steering problems.
Transmission: Common transmission rod problems, which can make shifting difficult.
Suspension: Knocking in the suspension is common, especially at high mileage, indicating wear.
Electronics: Engine electronics are known to have problems that require attention when diagnosing.
Trunk: Some cars may experience a jammed trunk release.
