Honestly mate, I'm not 100% sure the Seicento actually has a pollen filter as standard. Mine didn't have one when I checked – just some mesh thing that you can't replace. Depends on your trim level maybe?

@bernard_boyle88 Yeah, I heard that too. My mate had a 2001 Seicento and no cabin filter at all. Think only the later models or higher specs got them fitted.

If yours does have one, it's usually under the dashboard on passenger side. You need to remove the lower panel first with a Torx screwdriver – T25 bit I think. Then there's a flange with two screws to get the filter out.

@n0rmaN_d0y1e Yep, that's right! I did this on my cousin's Panda (same setup basically). Don't forget to clean out all the leaves and crap before putting the new one in 😅

Just make sure you get the arrow direction right when installing ! Arrow should point towards back of car. I messed this up once and wondered why airflow was rubbish haha

How often are you meant to change these anyway? I've had mine for 3 years and never touched it... probably should eh?

@VictorPrice Depends on where you drive mate. If you're in dusty areas or stuck in traffic a lot, maybe once a year. Otherwise every 2 years is fine from my experience. You'll notice if airflow gets weak or smells musty.

The filter itself is quite cheap, around 5-15 quid depending on brand. I usually grab a couple when I find them on sale so I've got spares ready.

@user_72456 check your car actually has the filter housing first before buying anything. Take off that lower panel under glovebox and have a look. Some Seicentos just don't have the provision for it unfortunately. Would save you the hassle!

@trevor_barnes Good point. And if there's no housing, you can't really retrofit one easily. Not worth the effort on a Seicento to be honest.

@eric_cooooole Also worth mentioning – you can get different types. Basic white ones just filter pollen and dust, but black activated carbon ones also filter smells and fumes. Costs a bit more but worth it if you drive in the city alot
