NTY Tailgate Struts reviews

This product fits Volvo XC60 II 2018 D4 AWD without problem & functions perfectly. I fitted in about 45 minutes with a Torx screwdriver (T20) to remove the two screws inside the warning triangle hatch in the tailgate liner (the liner then pulls off directly away from the tailgate and there are two electrical connectors to disconnect), and a small ~3mm flat blade screwdriver to retract the clips on each end of the strut. I cleaned the two ball-shaped mounting points with brake cleaner and regreased with Super Lube. Delivery from Autodoc was, as usual, faultless.

Don't waste your money. Bought for my Dad's car as original OEM ones on the way out and boot starting to bounce when opening. Fitted these and they were absolutely shocking. Boot was bouncing even more and you can hear the springs as well. Ended up fitting the old OEM ones back on and chucking these in the bin. Don't bother or just buy OEM ones.

they do the job better than broken originals meaning door opens wide but when hatch door opens to maximum you can hear a dangling noise. hope this is just a matter of adjustment over time.

Very similar to Stabilus (which was originally), electric socket is high-quality.
The product looks not cheap.
Replaced it myself without problems. Works stably, no complaints.

My wife is very unhappy with the boot lid falling on her head, these are a very reasonable price and will put me in the wife's good books

My struts are on the way out on my XC40 this website was recommended

Does not fit my 2006 grand voyager - will be returning it on Monday
