STABILUS Tailgate Struts reviews

Used these electric struts to replace the failing LR struts on my Discovery Sport, perfect fit and work great. Been waiting over 3 months for OEM Land Rover parts, wish I’d bought the Stabilus ones sooner.

They fit my BMW F10 well. They arrives quickly. Fitting is easy and they feel better than the original parts fitted by BMW. Please be aware to make sure the end closest to the boot opening clips into place securely. Once attached and pushed onto the receiver, two clamps in this part click and hold it securely in place. It takes a little force. They feel great quality when in use and the boot now opens slowly and under control with a feel of quality once again. I would recommend them if asked.

Ordered for a 2015 Seat Leon 1.4 FR 5dr hatchback. Installation was easy as could be. Unclip and pull out old struts, unclip and install new struts, re-clip. Auto boot opening! I was hesitant to order at first as most reviews suggested waiting times for 2 months+. However, my order got delivered within a week! Well packaged also.

Fitted BMW F10 2014 Sallon. Very slow to open, takes a good few seconds before you can use the boot. It’s like it works in slow motion. Would try a different one next time. I believe it’s the initial resistance of the strut that it too strong, or this is over what it should be. I checked it matches the car before buying.

These struts look, smell, feel & taste exactly the same as original equipment. Not surprisingly as they are made by the same people at the same factory - but they are half the price of the same thing from OEM dealer.

used this product because it has upgrade to wiring and wiring does not come out the back when fitted to car comes out to the side which is a better solution to stop wires from keep braking on all seat models

This is a perfect fit on my 07 Audi A6 Allroad 4FH. They have a strong push power and does what it should. Very easy to install, personally do not see why I have to buy other brands that costs 4x more....

BMW OEM part uses this part and brand. Fits my 330ci coupe although other sites sent me the wrong convertible part. This item doesn't show up for my car however this is the correct part to my believe.

They have a damper at the end of their travel so that the tailgate won't be knocking in the fully open position. Furthermore, I was using a free delivery voucher which saved me postage cost of £8.45

My Opel Omega tailgate strut is worn out and the hood closes by it self by freezing temperatures. So i gonna replace them by new ones from Stabilus, a good company known for good dampers.

Exact replacement and perfect fit for my 2010 BMW 3-Series Touring E91 tailgate. I bought two. They both come pre-greased for each ball joint. Simply push on and they're ready for use.

Same as Mercedes Benz ones fitted from the factory, very satisfied with the purchase especially for the price, as any car parts shop was asking an extortionate amount of money
