Ordered remanufactured version (with R after part number). It did not fit car as distance from alternator body to Pulley was incorrect and differed to OEM part. Had to arrange return and order this part. Comparison of website photos shows 8mm difference

nobody seems to have this part, I tried locally
we had a man in a workshop in Ramsgate who would repair the old alternator, but that was then and this is now, very pleased autodoc where able to help me

Finding the correct part was easy. The price is competitive. Once the item was selected I was able to drill down into the detail to check compatibility. All being well the right alternator for my car will arrive.

Works perfectly on my Volvo S40 2.4 2006. Make sure you order the correct one, two different versions are in use on this car model. This is with 3 pin connector, the other one has a 2 pin connector.

The first item I ordered had the wrong mounting, a later date version than my car.
It is worth checking the year of manufacture prior to purchasing an item marked as compatible to your vehicle
