How to change pollen filter / cabin filter on RENAULT MEGANE 2 (LM) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: pollen filter – Renault Megane 2. AUTODOC recommends:
Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: pollen filter – Renault Megane 2. Use the following procedure:
Step 1
Move the passenger seat fully backwards.
Step 2
Pry up, carefully release from the fasteners and remove the side trim panel on the passenger side.
Step 3
Unscrew the glove box fastening screws. Use Torx T20.
Step 4
Remove the dashboard side cover.
Replacement: pollen filter – Renault Megane 2. Professionals recommend:
Be careful to avoid damaging the airbag system.
Step 5
Remove the glovebox.
Replacement: pollen filter – Renault Megane 2. Tip from AUTODOC:
Be careful to avoid damaging the glove compartment fasteners.
Step 6
Unscrew the cabin filter fasteners. Use a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 7
Remove the cabin filter.

Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car.
Step 8
Install the cabin filter to its mounting seat.

Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.Replacement: pollen filter – Renault Megane 2. Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Take care to only use quality filters.
Step 9
Screw in the cabin filter fasteners. Use a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 10
Install the glove box.
Step 11
Screw the glove box fastening screws. Use Torx T20.
Step 12
Install the dashboard side cover. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.
Step 13
Install the side trim panel. Position the part using the guides and lock the fasteners.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: pollen filter – Renault Megane 2. Do not use excessive force during installation. This may damage the fasteners.
Step 14
Return the passenger seat to its initial position.
Step 15
Switch on the ignition.
Step 16
Switch on the air conditioning system. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 17
Switch off the ignition.
