Replacement: ignition coil – OPEL COMBO (71_). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- The replacement procedure is the same for the ignition coils of all cylinders.
- Please note: all work on the car – OPEL COMBO (71_) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Detach the connector from the ignition coil.
- Step 4Unscrew the ignition coil bolts. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 5Remove the ignition coil.
- Step 6Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug wells.
- Step 7Install a new ignition coil.
- Step 8Tighten the ignition coil bolts. Use Torx T30. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 7 nm torque.
