- Step 1Open the fuel door.Step 2Unscrew the fuel filler cap.Step 3Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.Step 4
Prepare a container for fluids. - Step 5
Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 6
Disconnect the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter. Use a crowbar.Replacement: fuel filter – VW CADDY II Box (9K9A). Tip from AUTODOC experts:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 7
Loosen the fuel filter mounting. Use a Phillips screwdriver. - Step 8
Clean the fuel lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 9
Disconnect the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter. Use a crowbar. - Step 10
Remove the fuel filter. Put the old filter cartridge in the container. - Step 11
