- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Slide the filter cover clips. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 4
Take off the filter lid. - Step 5
Demount the air filter. - Step 6Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the air duct.Step 7
Loosen the air intake fastening. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 8
Detach the vacuum pipe. Use pliers. - Step 9
Unscrew the fuel filter bracket fixing bolts. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. Use a Phillips screwdriver. - Step 10
Remove the fuel filter together with its bracket. - Step 11Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.Step 12
Loosen the fastening clamps of the fuel filter pipes. Use pliers. - Step 13
Detach the tubes from the fuel filter.Replacement: fuel filter – NISSAN PATROL Station Wagon (W160). AUTODOC experts recommend:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 14
Unscrew the lower cap of the fuel filter. - Step 15
Remove the fuel filter. - Step 16
Put the old filter cartridge in the container. - Step 17
