How to change front anti roll bar link / front drop link on SKODA FABIA 1 (6Y5) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

AUTODOC recommends:
- Replace the stabiliser links on Skoda Fabia 6Y5 in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for both stabiliser links on the same axle.
- Please note: all work on the car – Skoda Fabia 6Y5 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.
- Step 2Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17.
- Step 3Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.
- Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Skoda Fabia 6Y5
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6.1Clean the stabiliser link fasteners.Step 6.2Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 7Unscrew the nut and remove the stabilizer rod from the shock strut. Use HEX No.H5. Use a combination spanner #16. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 8Unscrew the fasteners connecting the stabiliser link to the stabiliser bar. Use HEX No.H5. Use a combination spanner #16. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Remove the stabilizer rod.
