Replacement: engine oil and filter – MINI MINI (R56). Tools you'll need:
Drive socket # 13
Oil filter cup socket 76-14F
Ratchet wrench
Torque wrench
Funnel
Oil drain pan
Microfibre towel
Fender cover

  • Replace the oil filter every time when changing motor oil.
  • Wear gloves to prevent contact with hot liquid.
  • Please note: all work on the car – MINI MINI (R56) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:

    Open the hood. Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

    Unscrew the filter housing cap together with the old filter element. Use the 76-14F socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
