Replacement: air filter – VAUXHALL CORSA Mk IV (E). AUTODOC experts recommend:

- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Unplug the mass air flow sensor connector. - Step 4
Detach the air intake hose clamp. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 5
Undo the fastening screws of the air filter cover. Use Torx T20. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 6
Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing. - Step 7
Take off the filter lid.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: air filter – VAUXHALL CORSA Mk IV (E). Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it. - Step 8
Remove the filter element from the filter housing. - Step 9
Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system. - Step 10
Clean the air filter cover and housing.Replacement: air filter – VAUXHALL CORSA Mk IV (E). Tip:Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth. - Step 11
Remove the microfibre towel from the air intake hose.
