Replacement: air filter – RENAULT Megane I Kombi van (KA_). AUTODOC recommends:
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- Please note: all work on the car – RENAULT Megane I Kombi van (KA_) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Loosen the fastening clamp connecting the air duct to the air filter housing. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 4Detach the air duct clamp. Remove the air intake hose.
- Step 5Detach the air duct housing from the air filter housing.
- Step 6Detach the vacuum hose connector.
- Step 7Clean the fasteners on the air filter housing. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
- Step 8Unscrew the filter housing fastening bolts. Use Torx T20. Use a tap wrench.
- Step 9Remove the air filter housing.
- Step 10Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
- Step 11Clean the air filter housing.
- Step 12Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: air filter – RENAULT Megane I Kombi van (KA_). Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Take care to only use quality filters.
