Detach the windscreen washer pump connector. - Step 5

Clean the air intake hose. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 7
Unscrew the clamp that fastens the air filter hose to the throttle body. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 8
Remove the air intake hose. - Step 9
Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system. - Step 10
Remove the filter element from the filter housing. - Step 11
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.Replacement: air filter – MERCEDES-BENZ VANEO (414).
