There is a noise coming from the front suspension on the SUBARU Forester II, I think it might be faulty tie rod ends. How do I check that?

Lift the vehicle or place it on the inspection pit. This will help you to fully access the suspension elements. Once you’ve done it, check the condition of the tie rod ends. Turn the steering wheel in the right direction and push the tie rod ends: if there is play, the components should be replaced. Then we recommend that you inspect the dust boots. There should be no cracks or scratches on them, otherwise dirt, water and chemical agents will get inside the tie rod end. This causes accelerated wear of the components. Make sure the tie rod is not deformed or scuffed.
