U0100 stands for “Lost Communication with ECM/PCM.” The Engine Control Module (ECM) is the computer responsible for controlling the engine. The ECM communicates with other vehicle control units via a communication bus. This bus, called the Controller Area Network (CAN), allows all modules to communicate.

U0101 code occurs because the TCM is having a difficult time communicating with the rest of the car. That means the most common reasons for a U0101 code are very simple things, such as a faulty battery with voltage issues, damaged terminals, disconnected connectors, and damage to the ground connection.

U0121 Code Mean? Fault code U0121 stands for “Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) Module.” The ABS module issues the necessary commands to modulate brake pressure and maintain the correct percentage of tire slip under emergency braking and adverse road surface conditions.

U0128 The BCM is part of your car’s electrical system. It controls various functions, including the tire pressure monitor, door locks, keyless entry and anti-theft systems. DTC U0140 could imply that the BCM is faulty and it’s not receiving or sending signals properly.

U0131 The control module compiles the input from the position, torque, and wheel speed sensors to calculate the power needed for assistance. The driver still has a mechanical connection that turns the steering gear. The motor and reduction gear assists the driver’s turning effort.

U1530 A poor connection, open circuit or other intermittent malfunction is present in the LIN bus lines between the column switch and the ETACS-ECU (Refer to GROUP 00, How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points – How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).

According to the description, most likely there is a problem with the wiring. In each of the errors there is a loss of communication or difficulties with communication to the units. You need to look for that and consult an electrician to check everything and ring all the wires.
