Sure! Here’s the information about changing the turbo on a 2010 Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi without using tables:

Replacing the turbo on this model involves several steps and requires careful work due to limited access around the turbocharger. The turbo is mounted on the exhaust manifold, near the diesel particulate filter (DPF), which sometimes needs to be loosened or moved to gain enough room.

You will need to remove or loosen some engine covers and protective parts to access the turbo and its associated hoses and connectors. Then disconnect the oil feed and return lines, the coolant lines if your turbo is water-cooled, and unplug any sensors or electronic actuators attached to the turbo.

The exhaust section connected to the turbo, including the manifold and sometimes the DPF, will have multiple bolts that are usually tight and hard to reach — long sockets, extensions, and patience are necessary. Sometimes, you might need to slightly lower or unbolt suspension parts to create clearance.

Once everything is disconnected, carefully unbolt the turbo from the exhaust manifold and remove it. When installing the new turbo, always replace all relevant gaskets and seals to avoid leaks. It’s essential to prime the turbo oil supply before starting the engine to avoid damage.

After fitting the new turbo, reassemble all parts in the reverse order of removal, making sure all connections are tight and secure. Purge air from oil and coolant circuits if applicable.

For detailed visual guidance, several YouTube tutorials show step-by-step procedures specific to the Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi turbo replacement, which are very helpful to understand the tricky areas.
