Stuck in 4wd

I use a 2004 Shogun 3.2 Di-D as a tow truck used pretty much in 2wd. Recently I attempted to engage 4wd. Alas nothing happened .No confirmation on the dash panel just 3 lights show when the ignition is turned on.

Took it to a garage ,5 new switches fitted to the top of the box ,no change then two vacuum solenoids .

On testing now stuck in 4wd with no response from and movement on the transmission shift .

Local garage given up and we have no specialists or main dealers in Herefordshire. Still 3 lights showing on the dash display (possible rear offside bulb failure )

Any ideas would be welcome
