The front brake system of my MITSUBISHI Colt VI is ATE. Do I have to grease the caliper guide pins? If so, what paste/lubricant is appropriate for the ATE?

The design of ATE brake caliper guide pins does not have guide pin boots. Therefore, these components must not be lubricated. Even a small amount of lubrication will cause the guide pins to slip. As a result, the caliper won’t return to its initial position. In addition, dust and sand will stick to the grease, thus causing accelerated wear of the guide pins.

In the fender liner on the side of the wheel, there is a hatch for easy replacement of the light bulb, if there is no hatch for some reason, you need to remove the fender liner.
