Starting Problem when information display cannot perform a complete check BENTLEY Turbo R Saloon (03.1985 - 02.1998)

Hello from Switzerland,

My Turbo R 1997 w/ 72’000 km will only start when the display unit can go through the complete systems check after turning the crank; this regardless of the red brake pressure and warning lights coming on. It needs to light up the “sysrtems check” light with the yellow “check engine” briefly, then the car will turn over and start immediately; without that, the engine will turn over but not start (as if the fuel pump would not engage). I replaced the engine management relay from Flying Spares, no change. I have the Manual on the CD but cannot see where the wire is missing to indicated an engine check.
