For the Lancia Ypsilon (843) 1.3 D Multijet, the spark plugs don't actually require replacing because it is a diesel engine—diesels don't use spark plugs; they use glow plugs instead to help start the engine in cold conditions.

If it were a petrol engine, spark plugs would be replaced somewhere around 30,000 to 60,000 kilometers depending on the type, but for your 1.3 Multijet diesel, you should focus on glow plugs maintenance instead.

Glow plugs typically need checking or replacement around the 60,000 to 80,000 km mark or if you notice harder starts and rough idling in cold weather. Always best to check your owner's manual or service schedule for exact intervals.

So, no spark plug swap party for your diesel, but keep those glow plugs in top shape, or your Ypsilon might throw a cold shoulder on frosty mornings! ❄️⚙️🔥
