As a rule, the vehicle manufacturers recommend replacing the spark plugs every 30,000 km. The frequency of replacement also depends on the type of spark plugs. Some of them last up to 100,000 km. However, the components may last less, since their service life depends on the operating conditions of the car, drive style and fuel quality. If there are signs of spark plugs malfunctions, they should be unscrewed and examined. A good spark plug should be clean, dry and without cracks on its surface. The play should not exceed that specified by the manufacturer.
