Replacing key barrel in drivers door.

@user_1904479 Oct 02, 2023MemberHi. I need to replace the cylinder/barrel in the front drivers door as the key just turns. It’s okay in the passenger side. I stripped out the door panel and got down to the cover over the barrel and clipped off the top and bottom but it seems to be attached somehow at higher up as wriggling it doesn’t work. Any tips. Thanks.

02.10.23 - @Quity1963 Oct 02, 2023MemberFor replacement you need to disassemble the half of the door: remove the trim, remove the window regulator, get to the cylinder from the inside of the door, remove the locking pins from the inside of the door and then replace it with a new one.Reply
