Hi. I need to replace the cylinder/barrel in the front drivers door as the key just turns. It’s okay in the passenger side. I stripped out the door panel and got down to the cover over the barrel and clipped off the top and bottom but it seems to be attached somehow at higher up as wriggling it doesn’t work. Any tips. Thanks.

If the barrel cover isn’t budging, it might be held by a hidden screw or clip near the top. Check for any screws or fasteners behind the weather stripping or door seals. Also, try gently prying that's not my neighbor it from different angles to see if it loosens up. Good luck!
