Does any know how to clear a blocked rear washer. I’ve tried a needle with no result. The motor is definitely running.

If the rear washer on your SsangYong Tivoli is not spraying despite the motor running and you've tried clearing the nozzle with a needle with no success, it's likely that the blockage is inside the nozzle or valve assembly rather than the pipe.

    A common effective fix is:

    1. Remove the rear washer jet nozzle from the vehicle carefully.
    2. The nozzle often contains a tiny valve or filter that gets blocked by dirt, calcium deposits, or debris.
    3. Soak the nozzle and valve in hot soapy water or white vinegar to dissolve deposits.
    4. After soaking, gently blow through the nozzle and valve to clear any remaining blockage.
    5. Reinstall the cleaned nozzle correctly aligned for spray direction.

This method was confirmed effective in a similar case where the rear washer motor sounded fine but no water came out until the valve inside the jet was cleaned thoroughly.

If cleaning doesn't restore flow, you may need to replace the rear washer jet or inspect the washer fluid hoses for any splits or disconnections.

Additionally, check the washer fluid reservoir and lines to ensure no leaks or clogs exist upstream.

So, next step would be to remove the jet nozzle, clean or soak it as above, then test again. This usually resolves stubborn rear washer clogs even when the pump motor is working.
