You should drain the antifreeze through the tap in the radiator at the bottom left in front.
Remove both pipes from the turbine. Then remove the pipe from the entrance to the block that comes from the expansion tank.
Then unscrew by 10 with a socket head,  the 2 bolts that attract the thermostat housing.
Remove and replace the thermostat with a new one.

Changing a thermostat is a straightforward DIY project if you follow the proper steps. Here’s a step-by-step guide based on the most relevant sources:

    Steps to Change a Thermostat

    1. Turn Off Power
    - Always start by turning off the power to your HVAC system at the circuit breaker to ensure safety.

    2. Remove the Old Thermostat
    - Carefully remove the cover of the old thermostat.
    - Take a picture or label each wire as you disconnect them to remember their positions for the new thermostat.

    3. Disconnect the Wires
    - Unscrew and gently pull out the wires from the old thermostat base. Make sure the wires do not fall back into the wall.

    4. Remove the Base Plate
    - Unscrew and remove the old thermostat’s base plate from the wall.

    5. Install the New Base Plate
    - Attach the new thermostat’s base plate to the wall, using the provided screws. Feed the labeled wires through the base plate.

    6. Connect the Wires
    - Insert each wire into the corresponding terminal on the new thermostat base, matching the labels or color codes (e.g., Y to yellow, W to white, R to red).

    7. Mount the New Thermostat
    - Snap or screw the new thermostat onto its base.

    8. Insert Batteries (If Required)
    - If your new thermostat uses batteries, insert them before mounting.

    9. Restore Power
    - Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

    10. Set Up the Thermostat
    - Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to set the date, time, and desired heating/cooling settings. Select the appropriate system type (gas, oil, electric, or heat pump) if prompted.

    11. Test the System
    - Set the thermostat to heating or cooling mode and verify that your HVAC system responds correctly.

    Tips

    - Take a photo of the wiring before disconnecting anything for easy reference.
    - Use small pieces of tape to label wires if your thermostat does not have color-coded terminals.
    - If you’re installing a smart thermostat, follow the manufacturer’s specific setup instructions for Wi-Fi and app connections.
