Oil filter

I am trying to locate the oil filter on 2014 zafira tourer 2.0cdti the help guide on this site doesn’t really show where the filter is. Would I be correct in thinking I need to be underneath the car to change this or could it be accessed from above?? Also does the plastic under sheet really need to come off? Oil being burned exhaust smoking and low oil pressure warning are symptoms but no loss of coolant??? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

01.11.23 - @Cappery Nov 01, 2023MemberOn my car the filter is located next to the engine sump, I think on your car it is also there, but access is only from the bottom of the car. It’s hard to say about exhaust smoke.Reply
