remove the upper plastic cover of the engine, on the left next to the oil fill cap, a little lower you will see the black oil filter cover, the oil filter is under it.

The oil filter on a 2013 SsangYong Korando (the model related to your Korando) is usually located inside an oil filter housing that you remove by twisting it counterclockwise. This housing is accessible underneath the vehicle, often near the oil pan area.

From video tutorials and manuals, the process generally involves:
    - Accessing the underside of the engine.
    - Locating the round oil filter housing cover, which is not a conventional spin-off canister filter but inside a plastic or metal housing.
    - Unscrewing the housing cover (usually with a suitable socket) by turning it counterclockwise to remove the filter element inside.
    - Replacing the filter and the rubber O-ring included with the new filter.

One video on changing the 2013 Korando oil filter mentions a torque of about 25 Nm to tighten the oil filter housing cover back after replacement.

So in short, your 2013 Korando's oil filter is inside a removable housing “cap” underneath the engine, not an external cartridge-type filter, and you need to unscrew that housing to change the filter element.

And hey, changing the oil filter housing is like unscrewing a secret treasure box of clean oil goodness — just be sure to replace the O-ring or else you might get a slippery surprise!
