I’ve got a Mobile Mechanic that has worked on my fan he diagnose it as an incorrectly fitted ABS sensor and a replacement ABS sensor on both front wheels.

He did this. I paid him stupidly I didn’t test the van before I paid him the money but when I did turn the keys the ABS light was off however the issue before he diagnosed it was The when the ABS light was off and you drove it up the road. The brakes shut when the ABS light came on and it got to a certain speed I think The brakes work fine.

So I got in contact with him again and told him that the original problem hadn’t been resolved. He then came back after some chasing and said that he thought it was a wheel bearing that was giving the incorrect reading will be on and off reading of the ABS which made sense but then said that the rear discs and pads what was causing it to Judder however as soon as the ABS light came on the judging stopped so I didn’t see the correlation between these things I challenged him on this and he said well I can change the the wheel bearing and that will turn the Abs light off. That is all I want because I need to sell it.

He said he come last Friday didn’t turn up didn’t message I’ve got in contact with him. He said he didn’t have the right bearing puller and he’d be back Monday Tuesday this week. Text him today he said he’d be here in the afternoon then he saying oh The correct who didn’t arrive and he’s chasing it and I’ll be back in touch.

Does this sound like a Wheel bearing problem? Which gives inconsistent or opposite ABS readings and creates the juddering.

And do you need to have a special tool to remove the wheel bearing on my van?

Thanks in advance
