DpF issue. VW Passat Variant (365)

Hi,

I recently bought a 2014 vw passat 1.6 TDI. And just after 20 days I had a DPF light. I tried running it on motorway between 2000-2500 RPM at 45 Mph for 36 miles but the dpf did not regenerate. I have been to garages but every other workshio tells me to remove the dpf and get it reprogrammed. My car has gone to limp mode yesterday.

I know if I removed dpf I won’t get my renewed legally.

Kindly advice.

Hi, you need to change the dpf filter, that's the only way you can fix the problem
