COMBO STEERING RACK BUSH

@user_1886276 Sep 24, 2023MemberHi my MOT is due soon and i have a lot of play on the steering rack ( passenger side) im guessing its the inner bush, is it a hard job to do ? and where can i get the bush, ebay have them but the feedback on them is not good.Thanks Guys.

@Wingthe Sep 25, 2023MemberThere can be many reasons for the play, for example, it is due to the failure of the steering tip, or steering rod, and so on. I wouldn’t recommend that you jump to the conclusion that it’s a bushing. I can’t tell you where to buy it, but I would advise you to diagnose the chassis first and let the mechanic more accurately determine the fault.Reply - @CallumHicks Sep 25, 2023Member
Play in the steering can have various causes like steering tip or rod issues. Recommend diagnosing the chassis before concluding it’s a bushing problem.
