Hi, I get a clunking which sounds like it’s coming from the rear when the vehicle changes gear (mostly downshifts from 4 to 3 – but upshift occasionally too). It sounds like something is sliding. I have a video with the noise on which I can send a link to.
I had it in VW who couldn’t diagnose on first visit who cleaned the Haldex filter and got the car back but it made the noise 20 meters down the road when leaving – it’s booked back in but wondered if anyone else had a similar issue. It tends to do it on the first journey of the day within the first 5 minutes and not after it warms up.
    It’s a VW Tiguan, 2013, dsg, 2.0, 4motion. 55000 miles
    Many thanks in advance

I think that the clang is coming from the Cardan shaft or from the rear gearbox. but I can’t be sure of that.
I can’t tell you anything about the filter.
