Cleaning roof seals -procedure.

PEUGEOT 307 CC (3B) 2.0 16V@user_972329 May 19, 2022MemberHiI want to clean/recondition the roof seals on this car. To do this it is necessary to stop the opening/closing mechanism half way.The roof seals can then easily be reached. Two questions.1. Is is safe to do this (stopping the opening half way)? Many say it is not but Peugeot obviously have to do this for repaid etc.2. Should the engine be switched off after stopping the roof? I was told if it is left running the solenoids will burn out!!Finally Peugeot and any roof specialists say don’t do it!!!! But they obviously have a way of doing it.So far I found NO-ONE who can give a definitive answer on this.Thx in advancePlato25
