Hi there, I am replacing the head gasket on a Peugeot 107. I have a slight chip in the thick part of the engine block (picture attached) Just wondering what would be best and/or quickest way to fix, or if I need to at all. Spoke to a garage who told me a bit of liquid metal would fix it but want a second opinion first as never used before. My concern is getting the block completely flat before I put the new gasket on. Any advice would really help, thanks.

hi, this is a serious problem, you can’t put the cylinder head back as the gasket will burn out again, you need to change the block
