AISIN Water Pump reviews

Bought AISIN WPT-140V economy water pump Toyota 16100 39465 / 39466 and installed with the new gasket that came with it, correctly onto Toyota 3ZR-FAE engine with new serpentine belt also. Surprisingly this AISIN new part has only lasted only a few months, now can hear water pump impellar bearings rumbling loudly when engine at idle speed! Not impressed one bit, will have to remove and do the job again, buy another brand, not to mention empty the coolant system again. It is also evident from Autodoc part listings there is an ECONOMY and PREMIUM version of these AISIN water pumps both having the exact WPT-140V model code references. Stay well clear of this brand. The original Toyota water pump part I removed was eighteen years old. This AISIN lasted a few months. Possibly a fake counterfeit part or manufacturing flaw. I wouldn't recommend, absolute rubbish.

I chose this pump because I like the brand and it is a good price. I have previously ordered from Autodoc and I had first class service, delivery and experience.

Seemed like a quality manufacturer, as it is an Aisin water pump that comes stock with my car Toyota Aygo mk1. Hoping this pump is MK2 or mk3, as mk1 sucks

Aisin is the manufacturer of the OEM pump; this costs a fraction of same pump in OEM packaging

would not recommend one of the hole didn't mutch up with the hole in the engine block by 5mm

Japan quality and precision, the shovels are made of cast iron this thing will last for ever
