FEBI BILSTEIN Gearbox Oil and Transmission Oil reviews

This product is certainly not compatible with the rear differential of a GLC X253. Although the required Mercedes specification of MB 279.71 is listed, it causes humming/whining noises from the rear axle at low speed when turning. I used this product in my differential and after some investigation I eventually replaced the fluid with genuine Mercedes Hypoid Gear Oil and the noise went away.

Used on my F32 BMW 435d front and rear differentials as meets the BMW hypoid 75w85 gl5 spec for the diffs. Driven about 500 miles since changing the oil and no issues to report. A lot cheaper than the BMW Hypoid G1 and G2 oils which they stopped showing the oil spec so people who don't know buy theirs.

Replaced my front and rear differential oil on my Audi A6 Allroad 4 FH and this oil was used. It is G 052 145 A1 specs and I have no problems with my differential. The Quattro is smooth and perfect now.

Used confidently on rear differential BMW E90 with M47 engine, standard differential. You will need more than 1 litre for that specific differential; 1.25 litres.

Used on my BMW 435d Xdrive transfer case. Driven about 500 miles since changing the oil and no issues to report. Did not need to recalibrate the transfer case.

Because I have the same Febi Bilstein all the times, and this time I need yellow colour oil, not the red one, for my Mercedes gle 250d 9g tronic.

this is the right specification for rear diff axle. my vehicle is Mercedes vito w639 mk2 auto on 16 reg

The correct oil for B6 tranny, for various Ford models, Cmax, Focus..it has the right spec, shifts good

Always found it works well with Any brand so keep a bottle on the shelf for emergency uses

Couldn’t find haldex oil anywhere on the cheap and audi charges £32 per liter aswell
