Replacement: wheel bearing – RENAULT LOGAN I (LS_). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- Do not re-use the bearing assembly of your RENAULT LOGAN I (LS_) car.
- The wheel hub bearing replacement procedure is identical for both wheels on the same axle.
- Please note: all work on the car – RENAULT LOGAN I (LS_) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.
- Step 2Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.
- Step 3Raise the rear of the car and secure on supports.Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. RENAULT LOGAN I (LS_)
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6Clean the brake drum. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 7Remove the hub bearing protection cap. Use a hammer. Use a crowbar.Replacement: wheel bearing – RENAULT LOGAN I (LS_). Professionals recommend:Some cars are not equipped with wheel hub caps.
- Step 8Unscrew the wheel hub axle nut. Use a drive socket #30. Use a tap wrench.
- Step 9Remove the brake drum assembled with the wheel hub bearing.
- Step 10Clean the hub bearing mounting seat. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
