All the parts you need to replace – Pollen Filter for CRAFTER Bus (SY_) and other VW models
Replacement: pollen filter – VW CRAFTER Bus (SY_). List of the tools you'll need:
Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
Step 1
Open the glove box.
Step 2
Press down on the glove box retainers.
Step 3
Detach the stopper (strap) from the glove box lid.
Step 4
Release the cabin filter cover clips.
Step 5
Remove the cabin filter housing cover.
Step 6
Remove the cabin filter.
Replacement: pollen filter – VW CRAFTER Bus (SY_). Tip from AUTODOC:
Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car.
Step 7
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: pollen filter – VW CRAFTER Bus (SY_). Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.
Step 8
Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.
Step 9
Attach the stopper (strap) to the glove box lid.
Step 10
Close the glove box.
Step 11
Switch on the ignition.
Step 12
Switch on the air conditioning system. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 13
Switch off the ignition.
