Replacement: pollen filter – NISSAN Rogue. Tip from AUTODOC experts:
- Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
- Please note: all work on the car – NISSAN Rogue – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the car door.Step 2
Remove the side plastic cover. - Step 3Switch on the ignition.Step 4
Set the heater flap actuator to the upper position. - Step 5Switch off the ignition.Step 6
Make a mark on the heater flap actuator. - Step 7
Unscrew the fasteners of the heater flap actuator. Use a combination spanner #8. - Step 8
Remove the heater flap actuator. - Step 9Unplug the connector of the heater flap actuator.Step 10
Unscrew the bracket of the heater flap actuator. Use a Phillips screwdriver. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 11
Remove the bracket of the heater flap actuator. - Step 12
Remove the cabin filter housing cover.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: pollen filter – NISSAN Rogue. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it. - Step 13
Remove the cabin filter.AUTODOC recommends:Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car. - Step 14
Install the cabin filter to its mounting seat.Replacement: pollen filter – NISSAN Rogue. AUTODOC recommends:Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.Take care to only use quality filters. - Step 15
Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover.AUTODOC recommends:Do not apply excessive force when installing the part. Otherwise you may damage the fasteners.
