All the parts you need to replace – Headlight Bulb for COMBO Tour and other OPEL models
Replacement: headlight bulb – OPEL COMBO Tour. Tip from AUTODOC experts:
The replacement procedure is identical for the left and right headlight bulbs.
Replace the bulbs in both headlights at a time.
All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: headlight bulb – OPEL COMBO Tour. Take the following steps:
Step 1
Switch off the ignition.
Step 2
Open the hood.
Step 3
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 4
Detach the air intake hose clamp. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 5
Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing.
Step 6
Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system.
Step 7
Detach the fasteners connecting the air pipe and the wiring harness to the air filter housing.
Step 8
Take off the filter lid. Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Step 9
Unscrew the filter housing fastening bolts. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 10
Remove the air filter housing.
Step 11
Detach the bulb holder by turning it by ~30°. Remove the holder from the headlight mounting seat.
Step 12
Remove the old bulb. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 13
Check the condition of the bulb holder terminals. Replace if necessary.
Step 14
Clean the bulb mounting seat on the holder. Use electronic spray.
Step 15
Install a new bulb into the holder.
Replacement: headlight bulb – OPEL COMBO Tour. AUTODOC recommends:
Avoid touching the bulb glass. The finger marks left on it may cause failure.
Step 16
Install the bulb holder into the headlight mounting seat. Secure the bulb holder by turning it by ~30°.
Step 17
Reinstall the air filter housing.
Step 18
Screw the filter housing fastening bolts. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 19
Insert the filter cartridge into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: headlight bulb – OPEL COMBO Tour. Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
Step 20
Reinstall the air filter cover. Fasten it.
Step 21
Attach the fasteners connecting the air pipe and the wiring harness to the air filter housing.
Step 22
Remove the microfibre towel from the air intake hose.
Step 23
Connect the air intake pipe to the air filter housing.
Step 24
Fasten the clamp on the air intake hose. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 25
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 26
Close the hood.
