Replacement: ABS sensor – VW CADDY ALLTRACK Box (SAA). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: ABS sensor – VW CADDY ALLTRACK Box (SAA). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 2Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17.
- Step 3Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. VW CADDY ALLTRACK Box (SAA)
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6Detach the ABS sensor connector.
- Step 7Clean the ABS sensor fastener. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 8Unscrew the ABS sensor fastener. Use HEX No.H5. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Disconnect the ABS sensor.
- Step 10Clean the ABS sensor mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 11Treat the ABS sensor fastener. Use a multipurpose grease. Use a flat screwdriver.
- Step 12Connect the ABS sensor.
- Step 13Tighten the fastener that connects the ABS sensor to the steering knuckle. Use HEX No.H5. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 7 Nm torque.
