stalling fuel pump

Any one knows why engine stalls after one minute or 2 minutes running? and if press on petrol pedal it can’t handle pressure so rpm drops to zero after it passes 15, and after that any press on pedal would drop it down to stall?

A test I performed: spraying carb-cleaner in the throttle at the point of stalling makes it continue running while spraying but once stop spraying it stalls.

Fuel pump does make the usual sound when turning ignition key to ON. so it is working, but whether it is functioning well and maintaining pressure, that I don’t know as haven’t been able to find the right guage and fittings.

If it is a pump weakness, then  which pump would it most likely be? there is 2 similar pumps in this car one mounted on top of the other, top pump receives from fuel tank hose, sends to lower pump which sends to filter.
