SCAN ME
Hi.
This is probably the most simple, elementary question ever asked on this forum!!
How the H*** do you read the oil dipstick on the 1.5l mild hybrid Tonale?
The dipstick is integral with the oil filler cap and the instruction in the manual states “check that the oil level is between the MAX and MIN marks on the dipstick” .
There are no such marks on my dipstick! Instead, there is a small yellow plastic piece, about 3cm in length, at the end of the metal dipstick. The plastic piece has a textured surface but no indication of max or min. There are no marks whatever on the metal dipstick. Attempting to read the oil level is purely guesswork.
What am I doing wrong??
All suggestions gratefully received.
