UK Mini owner. R53 Cooper S R53 Reg date 28/01/2005. The gasket is leaking from the oil filter /oil cooler body, which I need to access and replace. It looks like it can be got at from under the car by removing the drive shaft. Is this the best way, does if give the best space to get the housing off. Has anybody tried this, what problems if any were experienced? Are refurbished units obtainable?
