- @user_948354 @user_729663 May 02, 2022MemberYes the automatic transmission CVT fluid on older models (mine is 2003) needs regular changing. I get a jerking/stalling effect otherwise. If left too long, the car fails to respond to acceleation or deceleration. I am also finding a screeching sound, like a fanbelt which seems to occur mainly in hot summer weather – very mysterious!Reply
