Hi can some one help me with head light blub change on galaxy 2017 please
- @William827.11.2025 13:54MemberYeah, mate, was a pain for me too on my Galaxy 2017. The access is real tight, had to remove the cover under the bonnet, then twist the bulb holder and pull it gently. Wear gloves so you don’t get fingerprints on the new bulb — lasts longer that way .
- @Theo-North27.11.2025 15:53MemberChanged mine last month. Almost lost my patience, haha. You gotta have small hands, helps a ton. The left side is easier than the right, less stuff in the way. Took me 15 minutes each, but felt like hours.
- @Oliver Renault27.11.2025 16:05MemberCan confirm, fiddly job. My neighbor had flexible tools, let me borrow a long-necked plier, made grabbing the bulb easier. Got mine through a friend who had a spare set for compatible Ford models.
- @H. George27.11.2025 16:19MemberHad to take off the air filter box for better access on the passenger side. More steps, but made things smoother. Check you got the H7 type, otherwise could be a wasted effort.
- @L-L-L27.11.2025 16:41Member@William8 spot on about gloves! Also, don’t rush — those connectors can snap if forced. When fitting the new one, make sure it clicks in strong, otherwise you might get flickering.
- @owen_m27.11.2025 17:13MemberDid mine with the help of a mate, teamwork saves nerves. If you got LED bulbs, sometimes the casing’s tighter. We found removing the battery (passenger side) gave more space.
- @alfie.s.m.27.11.2025 17:23MemberBit of advice, @user_68676, take a picture before unplugging anything. Helped me avoid mixed-up wires when I changed both at once.
- @CharlesV27.11.2025 17:40MemberAgree with above! Changed bulbs on a rainy afternoon, got wet and frustrated, but with patience and right light source, doable solo.
- @secret_m27.11.2025 18:22MemberNoticed on mine, after install, sometimes the lights seemed dimmer, but improved after a short drive. Maybe settling in? Keep an eye, just in case.
- @FWB27.11.2025 18:29MemberIf it’s your first time, allow extra time and have spare bulbs on hand. Did mine twice — first wrong type, second went way quicker. Good luck!
